  • Google
    Search for Websites, images, news groups. Offers specialized searches for Mac & Linux O/S, and Government Websites.
    Default search will use Boolean OR logic. For more options, use the Advanced Search or see the help sheet.

  • Alta Vista
    Search for Websites, images, video, MP3, and news groups. As a "portal site," also offers shopping, email, people, map, and yellow pages searches. Handles full Boolean queries. Offers a Advanced Text-only search without the portal features.

  • All the Web
    Search for Websites, images, videos, MP3 and FTP files. May use Boolean operators or "word filters" in Advanced Search. See help sheet.
